First Steps Of How a WordPress Website Works

When installing WordPress and opening your dashboard for the first time you will find that there are some default setup content and plugins that come with the install.

This is common and there is no reason to worry, in fact, all you have to do is delete the content that comes with the install and the plugins unless you happen to choose to use those plugins.

As far as the default content, it needs to be all deleted because Google and other search engines will flag your website for duplicate content which will only hurt your chances of getting your website ranked with the search engines well. From this point, you can go ahead and start adding your content by building your pages and selecting the correct plugins that you wish to use.
